Quilting Friends, for over 40 seasons. Now watch her "strip" her
quilts in person. Kaye Wood, "Quit Engineer", has developed strip
quilting into more than squares and rectangles—it can be diamonds, triangles,
hexagons, and much more. You'll learn how easy and fun quilting can be with
Kaye's original techniques that assure success and inspire creativity. She
designs for both the pointed and pointless people...so there's something for
everyone today!

Sewing & Fabric booth in the Athenaeum Hotel Lobby for book signings and
pictures.

Have fun fussy-cutting embroidery designs
or fabric motifs to create stars, circles, hearts, hexagons, and octagons. With
just a few changes made in traditional patterns, you can begin quilting with
those that are sometimes intimidating, but are now easy-to-do fans, braided
borders, and trees. Get lots of different ideas for that first—or next—project.
You'll leave the seminar saying "I can do that"!
