Introducing the As You Wish Jacket and the Wish List Series.
FenArt Inspirations has answered the need for a jacket palette that would be simple enough to embrace any inspiration, yet flattering to all.
The beauty of this pattern is it versatility. It offers numerous options:
- Neckline--V-neck, round, extended open lapels
- Bottom--curved, straight, weskit
- Sleeves--regular or 3/4 length
With only three main pattern pieces, the jacket is easy and fast to construct. With sizes 6 through 20, the jacket will enhance any body.
Supplemental treatments to the basic As You Wish Jacket can be found in the Wish List Series. These are patterns, purchased separately, that contain instructions and necessities to create different looks using the basic AYWJ pattern pieces. Each of the Wishes instructions are based on the main pattern. Only the As You Wish Jacket pattern contains the jacket pattern piecess.

As You Wish Jacket
This is the basic As You Wish Jacket pattern. It offers the options for neckline, bottom treatment, and sleeve length. It contains the pattern pieces for the jacket, sizes 6 through 20.

Log Cabin Wishes
This Log Cabin Wish pattern gives instructions to create the log cabin panels that become the upper regions of your jacket. In creating these log cabin panels, you can choose to quilt, wash, and bind in the traditional manner or you can make your log cabin blocks current by adding embellishments instead of quilting.

This Gigs & Doodle Wish pattern offers the squirrelly gig templates for machine applique and the doodle art outlines for machine satin stitching. This "Good Luck" jacket is perfect for your favorite Asian collection because you can use up to five or six different prints for all the parts. Because this is an As You Wish Jacket, you know you can choose to have just the back collar, no vest; just the vest, no back collar; both back collar and vest. It's actually great for a collection of animal prints, too. It shows raw edge applique.

Honeycomb Wishes
The "honeycomb" applique gives an interesting twist to the color block look of the green jacket or the yoke look on the orange one. Because it's so easy to do, you'll be adding as much honeycomb as you wish!

This is a great jacket that definitely follows our philosophy--to make a jacket as you wish. You can add strip-pieced areas, quilted areas, embroidery on top of the strips, or embroidery cut on alternating strips. The scroll appliques help you define those areas beautifully!

Peek-A-Boo Wishes
Don't think you can wear a large or busy print fabric? Cut it up to have it peek through a solid fabric! Step up the rebel in you and do the same for embroidery--using the cut embroidered panel as part of your strip adds to the illusion.
