Bucket List Quilts
Hunter's Star and  Lemoyne Star projects frequently show up on quilter's  "Bucket Lists".
However, they are soon abandoned once the construction challenges are presented.   Diamond shape stars, inset seams, and high precision piecework cause frustration and failure for even the most advanced seamstresses. But not anymore!  My Rapid Fire techniques and tools were developed to bring success to novices as well as veteran quilters.  Projects are made with strip piecing, oversizing and trimming to build efficiency and success into every quilt project.  Come learn the theory behind the techniques and enjoy a trunk show of fabulous variations.  You'll be amazed at how quickly and easily you can complete these items on your Bucket List.

 Increase Success and Decrease Stress
My question to you........did you get into quilt making to add stress to your life?  Certainly not!  But as many of you know, piecework can be both challenging and frustrating. In this lecture I'll be sharing my enlightened approach to machine piecing that has a proven track record for increasing EVERY quilter's success rate while at the same time decreasing their stress level.  You'll hear about lessons I've learned from my 35+ years of quilt making, how and why my tools were developed and then view a large collection of past and current works. You are certain to walk away with added insights for your next machine piecing project.

Success with Scrap Quilts
When you ask someone to think of a quilt, usually what comes to mind is a scrap quilt.  They are our most loved quilts.  But pulling together dozens of fabrics into one cohesive project isn't always an easy task. This lecture is designed to illuminate some simple approaches for dealing with scrap quilts: choosing patterns, organizing your stash, and generally keeping control of literally hundreds of different fabrics.  When viewing the extensive trunk show, you'll see projects that I believe succeeded as well as those that didn't quite hit the mark.
